Spouses to Teachers transitions to Military OneSource! The Spouses to Teachers Program launched September 2004 in six states with a large military population and a need for public school teachers. Effective October 1, 2008, the Spouses to Teachers program transitioned to the Military OneSource Center under the Military Spouse Career Advancement Account Program (MSCAAP). Through the MSCAAP, consultants are available to provide career and education guidance for active duty military spouses. The new program under Military OneSource will be operational in January 2009. Under the MSCAAP military spouses nationwide will be able to receive up to $6,000 for tuition assistance for a teacher licensure program.
